The difference between religion and spirituality is the “Where” and not the “What”.

Religion’s ‘where’ comes from outside.  Spirituality’s ‘where’ comes from inside of you.

Taking the brave step to look inside of yourself, uncovering every last piece of pain and unmet desire, will lead you to your truest self.  There is no path more difficult, and no challenge more rewarding.

Some say it’s cliche to simply say ‘love thyself’.  And perhaps it is.  I don’t give a fuck if it’s cliche, however, this is my deepest truth.

To truly love yourself is a state of mind and a state of soul.  It’s finding this state that’s the hard part.

Very few of us seem to know how to go from ‘I don’t love myself’ to ‘I love myself’.

And yet it’s our heart’s and our soul’s imperative before we can ever have the impact we wish to have on this world.

Try this once;

Close your eyes and breath in deeply, now hold it, now exhale slowly.  Now ask yourself, do I truly know who I am?

Until you answer that question with a yes, you can’t answer the next one, which is: Do I truly love all of me?

If you answered no to either one then I implore you to explore further.  It’s tough, painful, and it takes a shit ton of courage and work.  It’s soooo worth it.

Do you have what it takes to get inside?
